Mix the dry ingredients in a big bowl
- 8 dl oat flakes
- 2 dl wheat bran
- 2 dl mix of pumpkin and sunflower seed
- 1 dl flaxseed
- 2 dl coarsely chopped nuts of your choice e.g. hazelnuts, cashewnuts, almonds
Mix the below in a sauce pan and stir while warming the ingredients so they mix well and melt together. Be careful not to allow it to boil.
- 2 dl water
- 2 tsp chinnamon
- 2 tsp ground cardamom
- 1 tsp vanilla sugar
- 1 dl brown sugar
- 1 dl dark syrup (for a less sweet granola take half of the sugar and syrup)
- 1 dl sunflower oil
- 1 tbsp honey
Pour it into the bowl and mix everything well. Spred onto two baking plates with bakingpaper. Roast in the owen at 175 degrees C for approximately 30 minutes, stir at least three times during the roasting. Be careful, it burns easy, keep an eye on it!
Once out of the owen let it cool a little. If you like dried fruit or berries now is the time to add 150-200g of your favorites.
